To add insult to injury she texted me yesterday to ask why I had not shown up to dinner last week. I told her that I did try calling and texting her several times to confirm but she didn't respond. Her answer to that was she had sent various emails prior to the event with all the details about where to meet and that that should have been enough.

What?! Really?!

:/ I would have the money to order my mac this week, but $150 of it is cash in my pocket and not in my bank account.  I guess waiting one more week won't hurt anything.  I'll just be somewhat anxious until then.

Worried about my friend, Pete, the one who recently came out.  He's in a crappy relationship with some loser who treats him poorly and yet Pete doesn't want to leave him.  Anyway, he's experiencing all kinds of emotional issues which is causing physical symptoms, all of which can be relieved if he just dumped the loser and moved on with his life.

Why would anyone want to be with someone who causes them so much grief? 

Anyway, me, Pete and some other friends had plans tomorrow night and now he wants to bring along his loser boyfriend so we can all meet him. I don't want to meet this guy.  He's a bum!

I see this all too often.  All too often I go to Wal-Mart and see at least 15 perfectly abled-bodied people ridding the scooters and taking up space in the aisles.  Those scooters are there for people with mobility issues (such as the elderly or those with broken legs), and not to enable you to sit on your a$$ even more because you are too lazy to walk; in fact, I'm more apt to see an elderly person hobbling along while shopping.  I'm obese too, but I don't let that become my excuse to get in every person's way.

Whenever I am looking for a doll clothing pattern online it almost always comes up a crocheting pattern. I don't want to crochet doll clothes because they are ugly.

^^^For your stand up doll?  Wouldn't children's clothing fit it?  There should be tons of patterns for that.

I've got multiple dolls of varying sizes for which I like to make clothes. I did use a children's costume pattern that is commercially available on that doll.

My Saturday was a total bust!  Friends and I drove and hour and a half out to the middle of nowhere in Connecticut for a "ghost tour" that was total bullsh*t.  Worst ghost tour ever!  There was nothing ghostly about it.  It was more a collection of random and disjointed historical facts and trivia about the town of Wallingford.  It was over before we knew it.  We got there early, too, to grab dinner before the tour, which meant I had to leave my house by 3 pm.  Ugh.

I'm seriously tired of all the bulllshit, something needs to change, I need a god damned improvement to f**king happen.... Oh, and if I don't have any options for a given situation then don't f**king tell me I do. I can see theres no options and would like not being lied to.

I have to look up several suspicious phone numbers a day--all of which turn out to be political, specifically right wing, in nature--but why is it that it is always the Conservatives who respond on a forum that calls people names of which are unfounded?  I constantly get a "Toll-Free Call" from various different numbers, and I look up each number to see who actually called because no message is ever left on my machine and there is no message ever played whenever you do answer--dead air--so some have called the numbers back and received a recorded message from the National Rifle Association and thus respond so on the number look up forum.  The Conservatives are always so quick to call someone a "socialist moron" if they say it was from the National Rifle Association instead of their pet company the National Recovery Association, of which does not exist.  The same goes for any Republican hang up calls.

Damn, I'm glad I got out of that world of vile hatred of everything.

When I was in Miami, whenever I went to a restaurant and asked about vegetarian options they'd almost always say "we have fish".  In one hotel, we had a chat with the concierge who proclaimed that she was vegetarian and ate fish.  

People are dumb.

I think it's because of lent.  During lent, 'believers' are supposed to give up something during that time period.  When people are saying they're giving up meat, it's been accepted by that group that fish doesn't count "so they can still get their protein."

I am tired of hearing about the weather. We have an infinite universe of things to discuss and it seems to always come down to weather.
