Thanks everyone.
Since making it official on Christmas, Michael has been noticeably beaming (except in pics hah)
Like he is the blushing bride. Can't wait to get this show on the road.

There is no date yet.
I have to find a church. Hopefully by the end of the year.
My boss at the high school, makes cakes on the side. She does it for any and every occasion.
So she'll be making ours. And Michael knows a photographer who works for the art gallery when they have major events. He'll be doing the photography for next to nothing.
We just plan on having a small ceremony. About 20 people. Then heading to a restaurant to eat. When we finish eating, we'll head over to my parents place for the wedding cake and coffee and drinks. Well that is the plan anyway tongue

Michael found a suit that he likes. And I found the accessories. I just need a dress. But i'll worry about that when the wedding is booked.
My moms brothers and sisters live in Portugal. Michaels mums brother, sisters and parents live in England. Both our fathers side of the family live in Canada don't really give us second thoughts so we figured a small ceremony for the family members who matter tongue

Thanks, ladies! I'm celebrating the fact that my face is looking less doughy these days. Who knew losing just 5 lbs would have such an effect! Still need to lose 45 lbs. more...but whatever. grin

Sounds fun. I can totally relate to the small ceremony thing. My family lives in Brazil, plus a large ceremony would be overwhelming.

I prefer mirrored walls, but I guess it just depends on one's preferred angle/vantage point. I'm not one to look straight up. meh

To me, it's not that it's a neat idea, but I'd be constantly worried that it isn't mounted right and would fall on me.
