Ugh, Sallie Mae...

I tried to find out if my loan qualified for the UPromise program (which, the more I found out about it, sounded like a load of baloney anyway), so I called them. They sent me to the UPromise people, who sent me back to Sallie Mae, who then told me they were connecting me to the appropriate office... and then disconnected my call. Each call took about 10 mins., so there was a half-hour of my evening I'll never get back.

Researcning stuff....and worrying about my eye. Now it feels irritated.

Maybe you should see a doctor.
Could it be make up you are using? Or perhaps something get in there?

I just ate a bowl of ice cream which I probably shouldn't have ate. But I guess I'll ride it off tomorrow.
Now I'm watching some Smallville.

I like the Castle but...

It's an hour and a half drive from where I live

Have to pay to park which is no big deal but keep reading...

Costs to get in unless you're one of the first like 8 people in line which is okay but keep reading...

and finally...

I'm dangerously allergic to cigarette smoke and can only stay there for 20 minutes before I have to leave and then I get an upper respiratory infection from the smoke.

So, hour and a half to get there, pay to park, pay to enter and then can only stay for 20 minutes and drive an hour and a half back home.

Just not worth it.

There used to be a fabulous club on 7th Ave I think it was, which was the sister club to The Castle called CZAR but it never took off like the Castle did and it closed.

So, I'm stuck.

We had a club in the town where I live, like 10 minutes from my house, but it sucked after about the first two months it was open.

It was filled with drunken inbred rednecks that thought it was cool to go ogle the "Goth weirdos," dress code was not enforced (so it was nothing to see redneck trash with cut off denim shorts and work boots with halter tops mixed on the dance floor with people who really took a lot of time with their attire -like I always do) and it folded less than three years after opening.

Which was no surprise to anyone.

Florida has no concept of ventilation when it comes to clubs and even at the Castle, if you go out to the courtyard, people smoke out there too so there is simply no escaping it.

If only I had money...I'd open a killer club with special smoking rooms so everyone could have a good time.

Gonna wash up and change.
Cooking burgers for my brothers. Might go for a bike ride and visit Michael at work.

I'm just happy that I'm clean again - I was NOT going to let a man carry crates up the stairs for me so I did it myself and the crates were filthy and not in a good way. I have split nails and cuts on my hands but I did it myself!!!!
