My crazy boss quit today. I could not stop grinning today.

She's a nasty person and made my and my coworkers' lives miserable. I only wish she had quit sooner.

Finally moved into the new house.

Since the end of August I've been actively losing weight, but I didn't start taking progress pictures until I had already lost 28 lbs from my "official" first weight (which was 275 lbs). Since then I would take a couple of pictures at the beginning of the month to track my visual progress, so when I transferred the current set (196 lbs.) into my progress folder I had a "dayum" moment comparing it to the first set. I'm still fat as f**k, but dayum I've made it this far!

FINALLY! A new monitor that works and it only took 3 tries. f**k you place that sounds like Wam Wart, the place that sounds like Guest Guy did what you couldn't.

I'm not always the one sharing happy thoughts or happy feelings but I saw how upset my hubby was after completing a 7 year course at university and my parents just buy him a congratulations card and nothing else. I saw how hurt he was and I gave his one half of his anniversary present, to which he was very pleased with and put a smile on his face. I love my husband and I don't like to see him said. Which leaves me to ask the question... Should I tell my parents how he felt by them just getting him a card? As I'm pretty pissed off myself at the moment.

^^Maybe they weren't aware of the grandeur or emotion of the completion? I know it sounds insensitive, but I've learned that the "older" generation feel our completion of school or getting a fantastic job is just "something that should be done" rather than the big accomplishment that it is to those who've worked tremendously hard to achieve.

^^ They know how hard work it is because he's had uni, had a job and then got married, had four children so it's been so tough on him and after 7 years he passes. You give a congrats card to someone who just passed their driving test not a PhD! I'm still annoyed with them and feel that I have the right to fight for my husband.

Renewed my AAA membership because I let it lapse for the last 6 months. Was going through the discounts and saw they have one for King Richard's Faire, which we're going to tomorrow. In the first 5 minutes of having it back saved 10% of what I spent to reactivate it.

I hadn't realised just how long I'd been away, Enjoying pottering about in here and updating things

Matt and I went to a showing of The Craft at the Alamo Drafthouse this evening.  We had a great time!
